English Language Trainer- Part time (1 Position)

Job Description:

  • Primarily responsible for developing and enhancing oral and written English language skills across the organization and instilling business communication skills addressing diverse needs and contexts..
  • Conducts training needs analysis (TNA) to understand expectations, requirements and training needs of the organization, teams and nominated individuals..
  • Develops, organizes and drives English Language Skills Development (ELSD) program to systematically address organizational needs and expectations..
  • Develops, adopts structured evaluation mechanism to objectively assess and rank training participants in language and communication skills..
  • Develops and delivers flexible, modular training programs that impart practical skills based on the learning objectives, role, work context and competency level of the training participants. 
  • Conducts pre and post-training evaluations, using objective criteria and tools to evaluate the skills level of the participants against a standard, multi-level ranking framework..
  • Responsible for assuring compliance for assigned programs, including but not limited to English language and communication courses..
  • Creates and maintains training records including training calendar, attendance, evaluations and feedback etc.
  • Compiles and submits periodic reports to update stakeholders about ongoing skills development and compliance status..
  • Guides and coaches people in language, communication and interpersonal skills and facilitates them in developing and implementing their individual development plans.
  • Stays abreast with the field of communication and language teaching and strives to introduce best practices, effective methods, tools and processes related to the area.
  • Reviews online and commercial training material, tools, services etc. for possible adoption in organization wide programs for areas that remain unaddressed through internal resources.
  • Facilitates the training team, other trainers and subject matter experts (SMEs) across teams, in developing, organizing, scheduling, delivering trainings and webinars.
  • Strives to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.

We are looking for:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in English Language Teaching, English Literature or related subject
  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Skills:

  • Proven record of teaching English language and communication skills in a corporate environment, preferably using an established, structured, multi-level competency framework.
  • Strong expertise in English Language Teaching and communication skills development.
  • Exceptional oral and written English
  • Passionate to develop people in language and communication skills.
  • An appetite to research and employ latest approaches, methods and tools in language and communication skills development.
  • Strong planning, organizing, execution and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to maintain flexible work hours.
  • Good MS Office Skills, including Excel.
  • Conversant with IT and web-based learning technology.
